Check to make sure the UV Test is working.

Place the UV Test® in the sun and look at the TESTER detection box. After just a few seconds in the sun, the box should turn a nice purple-gray. If the detection box turns purple, the UV Test® is working and the card is suitable for use. If the detection box remains white, the UV Test® is not working and you should obtain a new card.
*A My UV TEST® card comes with every purchase of a Copabaïa sunscreen product.

Tips and precautions for use :
For maximum effectiveness, keep the UV Test clean (away from sunscreen, sand, salt, etc.). If the card becomes soiled, clean with mild soap. The UV TEST is only a guide to help you decide how much protection you need; you are responsible for making the decision. Do not use if the UV Test is defective. Identify your vigilance level color.

Use the detection boxes on the card to determine the UV index: Determine the UV index, shown on the left side of the card, using the color indicators and the strip that turns purple. In this example, the shade of purple shown on the strip matches the 6–7 index or HIGH UV. Remember: The darker the shade of purple, the more dangerous the UV rays are and the more important it is to protect yourself. Find the protection color for your skin type (green, blue, yellow, orange or red). In this example, a fair-skinned person would have a protection color of orange, while a dark-skinned person would have a protection color of yellow.
